A casino welcome bonus is the offer you get for your first deposit or first few deposits: usually a percentage match such as 100% up to EUR 500, free spins, or a package that combines both across several deposits. What it is worth depends on the terms, not the headline: the wagering multiple, whether that multiple applies to the bonus only or to deposit plus bonus, the time limit, the maximum bet and the maximum cashout. On this page we compare the welcome offers of the casinos we list, using the operators’ own terms read on 7 and 8 October 2026, and work through the maths so you can see the real cost before you claim.

We have no exclusive deals with any casino, so every offer here is the standard public offer. If you searched for exclusive bonuses, the section further down explains what that label usually means and how to judge one.

Disclosure: 99casinos.com may earn a commission if you sign up through links on this page. This never changes the order or the terms we quote.

How we chose these welcome offers

Each casino above holds a licence we checked on the regulator’s own register or validator, and each offer is quoted from the operator’s bonus page and general bonus terms. We rank by the scoring set out in how we rate casinos, where bonus fairness (wagering base, time limit, cap, game weighting) counts alongside licence, payments and support. Commercial deals do not buy a position; our editorial policy explains how corrections and commercial separation work.

Four of the casinos are licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) and run on the same platform: Slot Pony and Spin Sweet (Elmst Limited), Taste Vegas (Elvel Limited) and Quickz (Ludaro Limited). Goldroll holds an Anjouan licence through Hundise Limited. The licence tells you who supervises the operator, not whether the casino is legal where you live; that depends on your country’s law, as our guide to legal online casinos explains.

What a welcome bonus is

A welcome bonus is a marketing cost. The casino gives you extra play money or spins so you register, deposit and keep playing long enough for the house edge to recover the cost. That is not a reason to avoid bonuses, but it is a reason to read the terms as a contract rather than an advert. These are the main types you will see.

Type How it works Typical catch
First-deposit match The casino adds a percentage of your deposit as bonus money, for example 100% up to EUR 500 Wagering of 30x to 45x, often on deposit plus bonus
Multi-deposit package A series of matches and spins spread over two to six deposits Each stage has its own minimum deposit, deadline and wagering
Free spins A set number of spins on named slots at a fixed stake Winnings may carry wagering or a cap
Wager-free free spins Spins whose winnings are paid as cash Usually a deposit is required, and winnings are capped per stage
Cashback A share of net losses returned, weekly or daily You only receive it after losing; it may be paid as bonus money
No-deposit bonus Small spins or bonus cash on registration Low maximum cashout and full identity checks
Casino and sports choice You pick either a casino or a sports welcome The two cannot normally be combined

For the no-deposit kind, see our separate guide to no deposit bonuses; none of the casinos on this page offers one as of October 2026. Our pages on match deposit bonuses and free spins bonuses go deeper into each format.

Welcome offers compared

The table sets the five offers side by side. Figures come from each casino’s welcome page and bonus terms as read on 7 and 8 October 2026; offers change, so check the casino’s page before you deposit.

Casino Headline Wagering Base Max bet Time to wager Max cashout
Slot Pony Up to EUR 1,500 + 777 free spins over 6 deposits 35x (1st), 30x (3rd, 5th) Deposit + bonus EUR 5 48 hours 5x the bonus
Taste Vegas Up to EUR 1,500 + 1,500 free spins over 6 deposits 45x (1st), 35x (3rd, 5th) Deposit + bonus EUR 5 48 hours 5x the bonus
Quickz Up to EUR 1,150 + 1,111 free spins over 6 deposits + weekly cashback 40x Deposit + bonus EUR 5 48 hours 5x the bonus
Spin Sweet Up to EUR 1,000 + 777 free spins over 6 deposits 40x Deposit + bonus EUR 5 (general bonus terms) 48 hours 5x the bonus
Goldroll Up to EUR 300 + 300 free spins over 6 deposits 25x Deposit + bonus EUR 5 48 hours 5x the bonus

Two details are easy to miss. Spin Sweet’s welcome page states a EUR 10 maximum bet while its general bonus terms say EUR 5; staying at EUR 5 keeps you inside both. All five apply wagering to deposit plus bonus. A bonus-only base, where the multiple applies to the bonus amount alone, would halve the wagering total on a 100% match at the same multiple; none of the casinos we list uses one as of October 2026, so treat it as a plus when you find it elsewhere.

How a headline such as “up to EUR 1,500” is built

Package headlines add up every stage. Slot Pony’s EUR 1,500 is three separate matches of up to EUR 500, and its 777 spins arrive in three batches on the even-numbered deposits. To collect the whole package you would need six qualifying deposits, several of them large.

Deposit Slot Pony stage Deposit needed for the maximum Wagering
1st 100% match up to EUR 500 EUR 500 35x deposit + bonus
2nd 250 free spins on Templar Tumble (1 spin per EUR 1) EUR 250 None on winnings
3rd 50% match up to EUR 500 EUR 1,000 30x deposit + bonus
4th 250 free spins on Dead Man’s Trail EUR 250 None on winnings
5th 50% match up to EUR 500 EUR 1,000 30x deposit + bonus
6th 277 free spins on Money Train 3 EUR 277 None on winnings

Adding the deposits shows the problem with chasing a headline: the maximum package needs more than EUR 3,000 of deposits. Most players should think about the first stage only and treat later stages as optional. At Quickz, stages two to six are opt-in before each deposit, so you can take the first match and skip the rest.

Wagering maths: what the multiple really costs

Wagering is the total amount you must bet before bonus money turns into cash. The multiple alone does not tell you that total; you also need the base it applies to. “35x the bonus” and “35x deposit plus bonus” sound similar but differ by a factor of two on a 100% match.

Bonus-only versus deposit plus bonus

Example: EUR 100 deposit, 100% match (EUR 100 bonus) Bonus only Deposit + bonus
Base EUR 100 EUR 200
25x EUR 2,500 EUR 5,000
35x EUR 3,500 EUR 7,000
40x EUR 4,000 EUR 8,000
45x EUR 4,500 EUR 9,000
10x (UK cap since 19 January 2026) EUR 1,000 not applicable: the cap is set on the bonus amount

The UK cap applies to the incentive amount, so a UKGC licensee cannot require more than ten times the bonus. Offshore casinos are not bound by it, which is why 35x to 45x deposit-plus-bonus terms are still common outside Great Britain.

The expected cost of wagering

Every bet on a slot costs, on average, the game’s house edge. A slot with a 96% return to player (RTP) keeps 4% of what you stake over the long run. Multiply that by the wagering total and you get the average amount the requirement will cost you. The figures below assume a 96% RTP slot throughout; real results swing widely around the average, and many games run lower RTP settings.

Wagering total Average cost at 96% RTP Bonus received Average result of the bonus
EUR 1,000 (10x bonus only) EUR 40 EUR 100 +EUR 60
EUR 3,500 (35x bonus only) EUR 140 EUR 100 -EUR 40
EUR 5,000 (25x deposit + bonus) EUR 200 EUR 100 -EUR 100
EUR 7,000 (35x deposit + bonus) EUR 280 EUR 100 -EUR 180
EUR 9,000 (45x deposit + bonus) EUR 360 EUR 100 -EUR 260

Read the last column carefully. It does not mean you will lose exactly that amount; it means that, on average, a heavy requirement uses up more than the bonus adds, and most attempts end with the balance at zero before the wagering is complete. A minority of attempts hit a big win early and finish ahead. The bonus is a way of buying more play time, not extra value, unless the wagering is light.

Game weighting

Not every game counts in full. At Slot Pony, Taste Vegas, Quickz and Spin Sweet, live casino and RNG table games do not count towards wagering at all, so the requirement has to be met on slots. Other casinos let table games count at 5% or 10%, which multiplies the effective requirement.

Game counts at Real betting needed for EUR 7,000 of wagering
100% (most slots) EUR 7,000
20% EUR 35,000
10% (typical for blackjack where allowed) EUR 70,000
0% (live casino at the MGA casinos above) cannot be met

Some slots are excluded or weighted lower too, often high-RTP titles or games with bonus-buy features. Many casinos also ban feature buys while bonus funds are in play.

Maximum bet

While a bonus is active, each spin or hand is capped, EUR 5 at all five casinos here. Breaking the cap, even once, gives the casino grounds to remove the bonus and the winnings made with it. The cap also sets the minimum number of spins you need: EUR 7,000 of wagering at EUR 5 a spin takes at least 1,400 spins.

Maximum cashout and conversion

A conversion cap limits what bonus money can become. At the four MGA casinos and Goldroll, bonus funds convert to cash up to five times the bonus amount. On a EUR 100 bonus that means a ceiling of EUR 500 from the bonus balance, however lucky the session. Some casinos use a fixed cap instead, such as a maximum win from bonus funds of EUR 2,000, whatever the bonus size.

Time limits

Short deadlines change how you play. The MGA casinos and Goldroll give 48 hours to complete wagering after you claim a match. At EUR 5 per spin and roughly one spin every four seconds, 1,400 spins take more than an hour and a half of continuous play; at a calmer EUR 1 per spin you would need 7,000 spins, close to eight hours. A short window therefore pushes stakes up, which raises the risk of hitting the maximum-bet rule or burning through the balance quickly.

Worked example: EUR 100 first deposit at each casino

The same deposit, five different offers. We assume a slot with 96% RTP, the maximum bet of EUR 5, and that the full deposit is matched.

Casino Bonus Wagering total Minimum spins at EUR 5 Average cost at 96% RTP Bonus cap on conversion
Goldroll EUR 100 EUR 5,000 (25x of EUR 200) 1,000 EUR 200 EUR 500
Slot Pony EUR 100 EUR 7,000 (35x of EUR 200) 1,400 EUR 280 EUR 500
Quickz EUR 100 EUR 8,000 (40x of EUR 200) 1,600 EUR 320 EUR 500
Spin Sweet EUR 100 EUR 8,000 (40x of EUR 200) 1,600 EUR 320 EUR 500
Taste Vegas EUR 100 EUR 9,000 (45x of EUR 200) 1,800 EUR 360 EUR 500

On these numbers Goldroll’s 25x is the lightest of the deposit-plus-bonus offers, and Taste Vegas’s 45x on the first stage is the heaviest. Taste Vegas compensates with the largest free-spin allowance, which is where its package has real value.

Free spins inside welcome packages

The free-spin stages are the strongest part of most packages here. At Slot Pony, Taste Vegas, Quickz and Spin Sweet, winnings from welcome spins are paid with no wagering, capped at EUR 1,000 per stage. Spins are released at one per EUR 1 deposited (two per EUR 1 on Taste Vegas’s second deposit) at EUR 0.10 each, must be claimed within 24 hours and are valid for seven days. Goldroll’s spins also pay wager-free winnings.

Value is simple to estimate: number of spins times stake times RTP. Two hundred and fifty spins at EUR 0.10 are EUR 25 of stakes; at a 96% RTP that is about EUR 24 back on average, as cash. That is smaller than a EUR 100 match on paper but often worth more in practice, because there is nothing to wager. For a full breakdown, see our guide to free spins bonuses.

Exclusive bonuses: what the label means

“Exclusive bonus” usually means a deal agreed between a casino and one affiliate website: a few extra spins, a higher match cap or a lower wagering multiple, available only through that site’s link or code. We do not have any exclusive deals at present. Every offer on this page is the same one you would see on the casino’s own site, and we would rather say so than relabel a standard offer.

Exclusive deals can be genuinely better, but the label is also used loosely. Before you take one, check these points:

  • Compare it with the casino’s own welcome page. If the “exclusive” offer is identical, it is not exclusive.
  • Read the wagering base. Extra spins with 40x wagering on their winnings can be worth less than fewer wager-free spins.
  • Confirm the code works before depositing. Codes are entered at registration or in the cashier, and a missed code is rarely added afterwards.
  • Check the licence and operator name in the footer against the regulator’s register. A generous exclusive at an unlicensed site is worth nothing if it never pays.
  • Look for a separate terms page. Exclusive offers still fall under the casino’s general bonus terms, including country exclusions.

Bonus codes

None of the five welcome offers on this page needs a code as of October 2026; they are credited automatically or through an opt-in in the cashier. Where a code is required elsewhere, it usually has to be entered at registration or in the deposit form before payment, and adding it after the deposit is at the casino’s discretion. Codes found on coupon sites are often expired or meant for another country, and using a code you are not eligible for can void the bonus. If a code is the only thing that makes an offer “exclusive”, compare the coded terms with the public ones line by line: the difference is sometimes only a handful of spins.

The old version of this page described exclusive bonuses as a “temporary high-roller status” and promised them to every newcomer at “a large reputable casino”. Neither is accurate as a general rule. VIP and high-stakes offers are a separate category, covered on our high roller bonuses page.

How to claim a welcome bonus

  1. Check that the casino accepts players from your country and that the offer is not excluded there. The four MGA casinos exclude Finland from their welcome offers.
  2. Read the bonus terms in full: wagering, base, time limit, maximum bet, maximum cashout, eligible games and excluded payment methods.
  3. Register. The MGA casinos on this page use a passwordless phone-number sign-up; others use email and password.
  4. Opt in where required. Quickz auto-activates its first bonus but needs an opt-in for later stages; Taste Vegas bonuses are opt-in in the cashier; several casinos require marketing consent to receive bonuses.
  5. Deposit at least the minimum (EUR 20 at all five) with a qualifying method.
  6. Play eligible slots at or below the maximum bet until the wagering counter reaches zero.
  7. Complete identity checks before your first withdrawal; documents may be requested at any stage.

The five packages stage by stage

All five offers are spread over six deposits, alternating cash matches with free-spin batches. Seeing the stages in one table makes it clearer what each deposit actually unlocks.

Casino 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th
Slot Pony 100% to EUR 500 250 spins 50% to EUR 500 250 spins 50% to EUR 500 277 spins
Taste Vegas 100% to EUR 500 500 spins 100% to EUR 500 500 spins 100% to EUR 500 500 spins
Quickz 100% to EUR 500 up to 350 spins 100% to EUR 300 up to 350 spins 100% to EUR 350 up to 411 spins
Spin Sweet 100% to EUR 250 250 spins 50% to EUR 250 250 spins 50% to EUR 500 277 spins
Goldroll 100% to EUR 100 up to 100 spins 100% to EUR 100 up to 100 spins 100% to EUR 100 up to 100 spins

Spins are released at one per EUR 1 deposited, so a free-spin stage needs a deposit equal to the number of spins (half that on Taste Vegas’s second deposit, which pays two spins per euro). The spin games named in the terms include Templar Tumble, Dead Man’s Trail and Money Train 3 at Slot Pony, Big Bass Splash, Big Bass Bonanza and Book of Dead at Taste Vegas, and Book of Dead, Rise of Olympus 1000 and Legacy of Dead at Goldroll.

RTP and volatility while you wager

The game you choose for wagering matters as much as the terms. Two numbers describe a slot: its RTP, which sets the average cost per euro staked, and its volatility, which sets how far results swing around that average. Many studios publish several RTP settings for the same title and let the casino choose. Play’n GO, for example, offers Book of Dead at settings from 96.21% down to well below 90%, and the version you see depends on the casino. The game’s information panel normally shows the RTP in use; check it before you spend a wagering session on a lower setting.

Volatility works differently. A low-volatility slot pays small amounts often, so the balance drifts down slowly and you are more likely to reach the end of the requirement, usually with a modest balance. A high-volatility slot pays rarely but sometimes large amounts, so most attempts bust early while a few finish far ahead, often above the conversion cap, which then removes the excess. With a cap of five times the bonus, extreme volatility has limited upside, and medium-volatility games are usually the more sensible choice for clearing a bonus.

Our guides to online slots explain RTP settings and volatility in more detail, with examples from the major studios.

Which players a welcome bonus suits

Slot players who stake small amounts and have a few hours to spare get the most from a match bonus; the requirements above are built around slot play at EUR 0.20 to EUR 5 a spin. Players who mainly use live dealer tables should usually decline, because live games count 0% at the MGA casinos here and wagering would have to be met on slots anyway. Table-game players face the same problem. Bettors who want both casino and sport should look at the sports welcome separately: at Quickz the sports offer (100% up to EUR 500 with code WELCOME500) is a different promotion with its own terms.

Wager-free free spins suit almost everyone who plays slots, because there is no requirement to meet. Their limits are the deposit needed to unlock them and the EUR 1,000 cap per stage.

How we check bonus terms

For every offer on this page we read three documents: the casino’s welcome or promotions page, its general bonus terms, and its general terms and conditions. Where they conflict, as with Spin Sweet’s maximum bet, we quote both and recommend the stricter figure. We note the date we read them, here 7 and 8 October 2026, and re-check the page monthly or sooner when a casino changes its offer. We do not deposit or play to test offers, and we do not publish figures we could not find in the operator’s own documents.

Common welcome bonus myths

  • “A 200% bonus is twice as good as 100%.” Only if the cap, wagering and base are the same; a higher percentage with a lower cap can be worth less.
  • “Free spins are free.” Most need a deposit, and some carry wagering on their winnings. The ones on this page are wager-free, but still deposit-linked.
  • “Bonus play has worse odds.” The game’s RTP does not change because a bonus is active; what changes is how much you must stake before you can withdraw.
  • “You can always cancel and keep your winnings.” Only under a non-sticky structure, and only from the real-money part of the balance.
  • “Licensed means legal everywhere.” A Malta licence lets the operator offer games from Malta; whether you may use the site depends on your own country.

Choosing a deposit size

A bigger deposit unlocks a bigger bonus, but it also raises the wagering total in direct proportion when the base is deposit plus bonus. The table uses Slot Pony’s first stage (100% up to EUR 500, 35x deposit plus bonus, 48 hours, EUR 5 maximum bet, conversion capped at five times the bonus) and a 96% RTP slot.

Deposit Bonus Wagering total Minimum spins at EUR 5 Average cost Conversion cap
EUR 20 EUR 20 EUR 1,400 280 EUR 56 EUR 100
EUR 50 EUR 50 EUR 3,500 700 EUR 140 EUR 250
EUR 100 EUR 100 EUR 7,000 1,400 EUR 280 EUR 500
EUR 250 EUR 250 EUR 17,500 3,500 EUR 700 EUR 1,250
EUR 500 EUR 500 EUR 35,000 7,000 EUR 1,400 EUR 2,500

The proportions never change: at 35x deposit plus bonus on a 100% match, the average cost of wagering is 2.8 times the bonus. What changes with size is the time. Seven thousand spins inside 48 hours is not realistic for most people, so the larger deposits are the ones most likely to end with an expired bonus. If you want the bonus, a small first deposit keeps the requirement achievable; if you want to play with a large sum, playing without the bonus avoids the deadline altogether.

Sticky and non-sticky bonuses

Casinos treat the two balances, your deposit and the bonus, in one of two ways. With a non-sticky bonus (sometimes called a parachute bonus) you play with your own money first. If you win early, you can usually forfeit the bonus and withdraw the cash winnings, because the bonus only comes into play once your real balance is used up. With a sticky bonus the two are combined from the start, and nothing is withdrawable until the wagering is complete.

The difference matters most when you hit a large win in the first few spins. Under a non-sticky structure that win can be yours; under a sticky one it is locked behind the full requirement. Bonus pages rarely use either term, so look for wording on the order in which balances are used and on what happens if you cancel the bonus. Where the terms are unclear, ask live chat and keep a copy of the answer.

Cashback as an alternative welcome

Cashback returns part of your net losses over a period. Quickz advertises up to 20% weekly cashback alongside its welcome package, and Taste Vegas pays 10% cashback to all players, rising to 20% through its loyalty levels. Cashback has no effect on a winning week; it only softens a losing one.

A simple example: you deposit EUR 200 over a week and end with nothing. At 10% cashback you receive EUR 20. If that cashback is paid as cash, it is worth exactly EUR 20; if it is paid as bonus money with wagering, it is worth less. Compare that with a match bonus whose average wagering cost is higher than the bonus itself, and cashback can be the fairer deal for regular players, though it is never a reason to deposit more.

One bonus per person: abuse rules and sister casinos

Welcome offers are limited to one per person, household, device, IP address and payment method. Opening a second account to claim again breaks the terms and usually ends with the account closed and winnings removed. The rule also reaches across sister sites. Elmst Limited’s MGA licence covers Slot Pony, Spin Sweet and several other brands on the same platform, including Slot Squad, Nitro Win, Lucky Fuel, Sugarino, Rich Moose, Reblz and Slot Mojo, so the operator can see activity across them.

Shared platforms have a responsible-gambling side too. At Slot Pony, Taste Vegas and Spin Sweet, self-exclusion covers only the site where you set it, and Quickz extends it to sister brands only on request. If you exclude yourself from one, ask support to apply the exclusion to the operator’s other casinos as well.

Withdrawing before the wagering is done

Requesting a withdrawal while a bonus is active normally cancels the bonus and any winnings made with it. Your remaining real-money balance can then be withdrawn, but other rules may still bite. At the four MGA casinos and Goldroll, deposits must be wagered at least once before withdrawal, and an unplayed deposit can be refunded only with a 5% fee (minimum EUR 10). Withdrawal limits also apply: EUR 5,000 per rolling 24 hours and EUR 20,000 per rolling 30 days at the MGA casinos, according to their terms. Verification documents (ID, proof of address and, at higher amounts, source of funds) are requested before the first payout at the latest, so sending them early avoids a delay.

Welcome bonuses and crypto deposits

Crypto deposits are handled differently from card payments. None of the five casinos on this page lists crypto in its cashier. At casinos that do accept it, the bonus balance is usually kept in the account currency, not in coins: if the coin’s price moves while you wager, the bonus does not move with it, but the value of anything you later withdraw in crypto does. For the tax and regulatory side, see our guide to Bitcoin casinos.

If a bonus dispute goes wrong

Start with the casino. Write to support, quote the exact bonus term, and keep screenshots of the offer page and your balance history. If the reply does not settle it, the next step depends on the licence. Malta-licensed casinos use an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body; the four MGA casinos here name eCOGRA, because the MGA’s own Player Support Unit stopped ruling on individual disputes on 1 April 2019. For Anjouan licensees such as Goldroll, complaints go through the site’s licence seal, the operator has 30 days to respond, and game-outcome disputes must be raised within 14 days. Keep every message; ADR bodies decide on the written record.

How welcome bonus rules have changed in Great Britain

The UK has tightened the rules step by step, and other regulators often follow. From 7 May 2019, UKGC licensees must verify a customer’s identity and age before they can gamble, which ended the practice of asking for documents only at the first withdrawal. Gambling with credit cards was banned from 14 April 2020. Stake limits on online slots followed: GBP 5 per spin for adults from 9 April 2025, and GBP 2 for 18 to 24-year-olds from 21 May 2025. Finally, the 10x wagering cap and the ban on mixed-product offers took effect on 19 January 2026.

None of these rules binds an offshore casino, which is one reason the offers on this page look larger than UK offers. A larger headline is not a better deal if the wagering, deadline and cap take most of the value back.

A quick welcome bonus checklist

  • Licence checked on the regulator’s register, and the operator name matches the footer.
  • Your country is accepted and not excluded from the offer.
  • Wagering multiple and base known, and the total calculated for your deposit.
  • Deadline long enough to finish at a stake you are comfortable with.
  • Maximum bet noted, including any conflict between pages.
  • Conversion cap or maximum win known.
  • Your payment method qualifies.
  • A deposit limit set before the first deposit.

When to decline a welcome bonus

Declining is often the better choice. Without a bonus there is no wagering, no maximum bet and no conversion cap, and the only rule is that deposits must be played through once before withdrawal at most casinos here. Consider skipping the match if any of these apply:

  • You mainly play live casino or table games, which count 0% towards wagering at the MGA casinos here.
  • You want to stake more than EUR 5 per spin.
  • You cannot realistically complete the wagering within 48 hours.
  • You might want to withdraw a win quickly; an active bonus locks the balance until wagering is done.

A sensible compromise at the six-stage packages is to skip the match stages and take only the wager-free spin stages, where the terms allow it.

Payment methods that do not qualify

Check the method before you deposit. At Slot Pony, Taste Vegas, Quickz and Spin Sweet, deposits made with Skrill, Neteller or Paysafecard do not qualify for the welcome offer, and Goldroll’s bonus terms exclude e-wallet deposits too. Cards, Apple Pay and instant bank transfers normally qualify. If you prefer an e-wallet, accept that you will play without the welcome offer, or use a qualifying method for the bonus deposit only.

Country restrictions

A welcome offer is only available where both the casino and the promotion accept you. These are the restrictions in the terms we read:

Casino Restriction
Slot Pony, Taste Vegas, Quickz, Spin Sweet Welcome offer not available in Finland; not licensed in the UK; not open to US players
Goldroll Terms bar the UK, US, Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain, Austria and Ontario; welcome excludes Finland

Bonus rules in regulated markets

Several countries now set legal limits on casino bonuses for their own licensees. If you play at a locally licensed site, these rules protect you; at an offshore site they do not apply.

Great Britain Wagering capped at 10x the bonus and mixed-product offers (for example casino plus betting) banned, from 19 January 2026 UK Gambling Commission, SR Code 5.1.1

UK players: these casinos are not for you

Only operators licensed by the UK Gambling Commission may offer gambling to people in Great Britain, under the Gambling Act 2005 as extended to overseas operators by the Gambling (Licensing and Advertising) Act 2014. None of the five casinos on this page holds a UKGC licence, and none of them is aimed at UK residents. GAMSTOP self-exclusion only covers UKGC-licensed sites, and UKGC protections such as the 10x cap on bonus wagering in force since 19 January 2026 do not apply offshore. If you live in Great Britain, choose a UKGC-licensed casino and check it on the Commission’s public register.

Red flags in welcome terms

  • Wagering on deposit plus bonus above 40x, combined with a 48-hour or shorter deadline.
  • A maximum cashout on a deposit bonus that is lower than the deposit itself.
  • Bonus terms that conflict with each other (for example two different maximum bets). Ask support in writing which applies and keep the reply.
  • Bonuses credited automatically with no way to decline.
  • Terms that let the casino cancel winnings for “irregular play” without defining it.
  • No operator name or licence number in the footer, or a licence that does not appear on the regulator’s register.

If several of these appear together, walk away; there are always other offers.

Play safely

A welcome bonus does not change the odds of any game; it changes how long your money lasts. Gambling is for adults only: 18+ in most countries, and higher in some (21 for casinos licensed in Estonia, for example). Set a deposit limit before you claim anything, treat any bonus as entertainment rather than income, and stop if you are chasing losses. In the UK, the National Gambling Helpline run by GamCare is free on 0808 8020 133, around the clock; BeGambleAware and Gambling Therapy offer support in other countries. Frequently asked questions

What is a casino welcome bonus?

It is an offer for new customers, usually a percentage match on the first deposit, free spins, or a package spread over several deposits. Bonus money normally has to be wagered a set number of times before it can be withdrawn, and a maximum bet and time limit apply while it is active.

Which welcome bonus is the best?

The one with the lowest real cost, not the biggest headline. Compare the wagering multiple, whether it applies to the bonus only or to deposit plus bonus, the time limit, the maximum bet and the maximum cashout. Wager-free free spins are often worth more than a large match bonus with 40x or 45x deposit-plus-bonus wagering.

Can I withdraw a welcome bonus straight away?

No. Bonus money becomes withdrawable only after the wagering requirement is met. Free-spin winnings that are paid as cash with no wagering can be withdrawn once identity checks are complete, subject to any cap in the terms.

Do I have to accept a welcome bonus?

No. At most casinos you can decline the offer or skip the opt-in. Playing without a bonus means no wagering requirement, no maximum bet and no cap on what you can withdraw.

What is an exclusive casino bonus?

A deal negotiated between a casino and a single affiliate site, usually with a few extra free spins, a higher cap or a special code. We do not currently have any exclusive deals, so every offer on this page is the standard public offer.

Why can I not use Skrill or Neteller for a welcome bonus?

Many casinos exclude e-wallet deposits from bonus eligibility to limit bonus abuse. At the Malta-licensed casinos on this page, deposits made with Skrill, Neteller or Paysafecard do not qualify for the welcome offer.

Is a welcome bonus available in every country?

No. Each casino lists excluded countries. The Malta-licensed casinos on this page exclude Finland from their welcome offers, and Goldroll’s terms bar the UK, the US, the Netherlands, Germany and several other markets. Regulated markets also set their own bonus rules.

How much does it cost to clear a welcome bonus?

On average, the house edge multiplied by the total you have to bet. EUR 7,000 of slot play at a 96% RTP costs about EUR 280 on average, which is more than a EUR 100 bonus is worth. Lower wagering and a bonus-only base make the cost much smaller.
