A wire transfer casino lets you deposit and withdraw by bank transfer, directly between your bank account and the casino. It is slower than an e-wallet, but it handles large amounts and lands in your own account. In October 2026 the two casinos below offer bank transfers, and both Slot Pony and Goldroll say bank payouts usually go out the same working day. Their binding terms allow longer, so we quote both.

We checked each casino’s payments page and terms on 6 and 8 October 2026. We have not made test withdrawals, so every time below is the operator’s own statement. Ratings follow the six weighted criteria on our how we rate casinos page, where payments and withdrawals count for 20% of the score.

Disclosure: 99casinos.com may earn a commission if you sign up through links on this page. This does not change which casinos qualify: each one must offer bank transfers in its cashier, and each bars some countries in its terms (see the country note on each listing).

Bank transfer terms at the casinos we list

“Processing” is the time the casino takes to approve and send a withdrawal. The bank part comes after that and depends on the transfer type.

Casino Bank deposit Stated withdrawal processing Withdrawal limits Fees and conditions
Slot Pony (MGA) Instant Bank Transfer in selected regions; minimum EUR 20 Within 72h once KYC is complete (terms); instant bank the same working day (payments page) Minimum EUR 20; EUR 5,000 per rolling 24h; EUR 20,000 per rolling 30 days Deposits must be wagered once before withdrawal; refund of an unplayed deposit costs 5% (minimum EUR 10)
Goldroll (Anjouan) Instant Banking (bank transfer); minimum EUR 20 Bank transfers processed the same working day, usually received within one working day (payments page); within 72h (terms) EUR 5,000 per 24h; EUR 20,000 per 30 days Euros only; deposits turned over once; a percentage withdrawal fee may apply (terms 4.3)

Check the cashier once you are logged in. Instant Banking at Slot Pony is offered in “selected regions”, and the exact bank list depends on where you live.

Types of bank transfer, and how fast each one is

Transfer type Where it works Bank-side time Typical cost
SEPA Instant Credit Transfer Euro payments in the EU and EEA Within 10 seconds, every day of the year No more than a standard SEPA transfer at the same bank (Regulation (EU) 2024/886)
Standard SEPA Credit Transfer Euro payments in the SEPA area By the end of the next business day Often free or a few euros
International SWIFT wire Worldwide, any currency Commonly 1 to 5 banking days, longer with intermediary banks or holidays Sending bank fee, possible intermediary and receiving fees
Instant (open) banking from the cashier Countries the provider covers Deposit credited at once; payout uses one of the rails above Usually no fee from the casino for deposits

The Instant Payments Regulation set two dates that matter for euro transfers. Since 9 January 2025 banks in the euro area must be able to receive instant euro transfers, and since 9 October 2025 they must be able to send them and offer Verification of Payee, which checks that the name matches the account before you approve a payment. That check also applies to standard euro transfers.

Who pays the fees on an international wire

SWIFT is a messaging network; it does not set customer prices. Each bank in the chain may charge, and the instruction on the transfer decides who pays:

  • OUR: the sender pays all charges, so you receive the full amount.
  • SHA: charges are shared; intermediary fees may be taken from the amount on the way.
  • BEN: the recipient bears the charges.

On a casino payout the casino is the sender. If it sends SHA, an intermediary bank may deduct a fee and your bank may charge to receive. Currency conversion adds a spread when the casino pays in euros and your account is in another currency; Goldroll processes deposits and withdrawals in euros only, according to its payments FAQ. A euro account avoids that cost.

How to deposit by bank transfer

  1. Open the cashier and pick bank transfer or instant banking.
  2. For instant banking, choose your bank, log in and approve the payment in your banking app. The balance updates in seconds.
  3. For a classic wire, copy the IBAN, BIC and payment reference the casino shows. Missing the reference is the most common reason a deposit is not credited.
  4. Keep the bank confirmation until the money shows in your casino balance.

How to withdraw by bank transfer

  1. Complete identity verification first. Slot Pony and Goldroll may ask for ID and proof of address before a payout, and Goldroll uses Sumsub in its lobby.
  2. Make sure your deposits have been played through once; both Malta and Anjouan brands above require 1x turnover before a withdrawal.
  3. Request the payout to the bank account you deposited from, in your own name.
  4. Allow for the casino’s processing time, then the bank-side time from the table above.

Why bank withdrawals get delayed

Most slow bank payouts have an ordinary cause that you can fix in advance. These are the ones we see most often in casino terms and help pages:

  • Verification not finished. Slot Pony’s terms start the 72-hour clock only once KYC is complete. An unanswered document request stops everything.
  • Deposit not played through. Slot Pony and Goldroll require each deposit to be wagered once before a withdrawal; a request made earlier is refused or held.
  • Name mismatch. If the bank account name differs from your casino account, the payout is stopped for checks.
  • Weekend or holiday. Manual approvals often wait for the next working day, and standard SEPA and SWIFT transfers settle on banking days only.
  • Limits reached. A request above the daily or weekly cap is split or queued. At Slot Pony and Goldroll the cap is EUR 5,000 per 24 hours.
  • Active bonus. Funds tied to an unfinished wagering requirement cannot be withdrawn, and cancelling the bonus usually removes bonus winnings.

Bank transfer compared with other payout methods

Method Usual time after approval Good for Watch out for
Bank transfer (SEPA Instant) Seconds Euro accounts in the EU Casino approval still applies
Bank transfer (SWIFT) 1 to 5 banking days Large amounts, non-euro accounts Intermediary and conversion fees
E-wallet Usually minutes Fast, frequent small payouts Often excluded from welcome bonuses
Debit card Often 1 to 5 working days Players without a wallet Not every card accepts payouts
Prepaid voucher Not possible Deposits only You need a second method to withdraw

Slot Pony and Goldroll exclude e-wallet deposits such as Skrill and Neteller from their welcome offers, which is one reason to deposit by bank. Check the bonus terms of the offer you want before choosing a method; our welcome bonuses guide explains how these exclusions work.

Identity checks and source of funds

Bank transfers carry your name, so casinos compare it with your account. Under EU anti-money-laundering law, casinos must verify customers when they collect or pay out EUR 2,000 or more, including linked transactions. Large wires often trigger a source-of-funds question as well, such as a payslip or bank statement. Sending those documents early is the single best way to shorten the wait.

Pros and cons of wire transfers at casinos

Pros Cons
Handles large amounts International wires can take several banking days
Money goes to your own bank account Bank and intermediary fees on SWIFT transfers
Instant euro transfers now standard in the euro area Missing references delay deposits
No wallet account to open More document checks on big payouts

Alternatives to a wire transfer

If speed matters more than size, an e-wallet such as Skrill usually pays faster once the casino has approved the request. For bank payments started from the cashier with no IBAN to copy, see our Trustly casinos page. In Sweden and Finland, Zimpler does the same job. Every method we cover is on our casino payment methods hub, and our fast payout casinos guide compares stated withdrawal times across methods.

UK players

Only operators licensed by the UK Gambling Commission may offer gambling to people in Great Britain (Gambling Act 2005), and GAMSTOP self-exclusion only covers those sites. The casinos on this page are not UKGC-licensed and are not aimed at UK residents; Goldroll bars the UK in its terms.

US players

None of the casinos on this page accepts players from the United States. Goldroll bars the US in its terms, and Slot Pony is not open to US players.

Play safely

You must be 18 or older, or older where local law says so. Set deposit limits in your account before you play; Slot Pony offers daily, weekly and monthly limits, and Goldroll sets them through live chat or email. If gambling stops being fun, free and confidential help is available from GamCare (0808 8020 133 in the UK) and Gambling Therapy online in many languages. Our responsible gambling page lists national helplines.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a casino wire transfer take?

Two waits add up. First the casino approves the withdrawal: Slot Pony’s terms allow up to 72 hours once verification is complete, while its payments page says instant bank payouts usually go the same working day. Then the bank transfer runs: a SEPA Instant payment arrives within seconds, a standard SEPA transfer by the next business day, and an international SWIFT wire often takes one to five banking days.

Are there fees on casino bank transfers?

Often on international wires. Your bank and any intermediary bank may charge, and the casino may add its own fee; Goldroll’s terms say a percentage withdrawal fee may apply. Euro SEPA transfers are usually cheap or free, and EU law says an instant euro transfer may not cost more than a standard one.

Is a wire transfer safe for casino payments?

The transfer itself is safe, because it runs through regulated banks and goes to an account in your name. The risk sits with the casino: check that it holds a licence that is valid for your country and read its withdrawal terms before you deposit.

Can I deposit by bank transfer and withdraw to a card?

Usually not. Most casinos pay withdrawals back to the method and account you deposited from, in your own name, to prevent fraud and money laundering. Goldroll’s terms say so directly.

What is the difference between a wire transfer and instant banking?

A wire transfer is a bank-to-bank payment you start from your own bank with the casino’s account details and a reference. Instant banking (open banking) is started from the casino cashier: you log in to your bank, approve the payment and the casino sees it at once. Both end in your bank account.

Why did my casino ask for documents before paying by bank transfer?

Anti-money-laundering rules require casinos to verify who you are and, at higher amounts, where your money comes from. Payouts go to an account in your name, so the casino checks that the bank account and your identity match.
