Microgaming casinos are casinos that carry the games once supplied by Microgaming, the Isle of Man company that was one of the first online casino software suppliers. Since 2022 that content, including the Mega Moolah jackpot network, Immortal Romance and Thunderstruck II, has been supplied by Games Global. This page explains what changed, lists six notable games with their published RTP, shows how to check the version a casino runs. We have no casino list on this page: none of the casinos we currently list shows Microgaming or Games Global titles on its public pages.
We checked the facts on 8 October 2026. Games Global’s public site does not show per-game RTP sheets, so the figures below are the standard configurations stated in each game’s rules; your casino’s version may differ.
From Microgaming to Games Global
Microgaming was founded in 1994 and built one of the earliest online casino platforms, from its base on the Isle of Man. For many years it ran a large distribution network: its own games plus titles from independent studios that it published, delivered through its Quickfire platform. In 2022 Games Global bought Microgaming’s distribution business, online game portfolio, intellectual property and progressive jackpot network; it did not buy the Microgaming company itself. Since then, Games Global supplies the former Microgaming titles and the studio network to casinos, and the Mega Moolah jackpot network runs under Games Global.
Games Global says it has a portfolio of more than 1,300 exclusive titles, plus progressive jackpots and platform tools for operators. Older copy on this site described Microgaming as a current supplier; that is no longer accurate, and we have corrected it across our pages.

What the Microgaming catalogue is known for
Mega Moolah is the headline. Its progressive jackpot is shared across many casinos and has paid some of the largest online slot jackpots on record. Immortal Romance (2011) and Thunderstruck II (2010) became long-running favourites thanks to bonus rounds that unlock more features the more often you trigger them. Avalon and Break da Bank Again are older classics that many casinos still carry.
Notable games: RTP and features
| Game | Released | RTP (standard configuration) | Main feature |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mega Moolah | 2006 | 88.12% base; about 93.42% with jackpot share | Four-tier progressive jackpot network |
| Immortal Romance | 2011 | 96.86% | Chamber of Spins with four character features |
| Thunderstruck II | 2010 | 96.65% | Great Hall of Spins, 243 ways |
| Avalon | 2006 | 97.00% | Free spins with multiplier |
| Break da Bank Again | 2011 | 95.43% | Free spins with 5x multiplier |
| 9 Masks of Fire | 2019 | 96.24% | Scatter pays and free spins |
Volatility is not published on Games Global’s public site. The game rules show the details for the version you load, and players generally find Mega Moolah’s base game gentle (the value sits in the rare jackpot), Immortal Romance and Thunderstruck II medium to high, and Break da Bank Again swingy because most of its value sits in the free spins.
Mega Moolah
Mega Moolah’s four jackpots (Mini, Minor, Major and Mega) are won through a jackpot wheel that can trigger at random on any spin; a higher stake increases the chance of triggering it. The trade-off is the return: about 88.12% from the base game, or about 93.42% including the jackpot contribution, well below a typical non-jackpot slot. Play it for the small chance of a very large prize, not for value. Our guide to progressive slots explains how jackpot funding works.
Immortal Romance
A vampire-themed 243-ways slot with a Chamber of Spins that offers four free-spin features, unlocked step by step as you trigger the bonus more times. Standard RTP: 96.86%.
Thunderstruck II
A Norse-themed 243-ways game with the Great Hall of Spins, which unlocks four bonus modes in the same way. Standard RTP: 96.65%. The Wildstorm feature can turn whole reels wild at random.
How to check the RTP at a casino
- Open the game and the menu or “i” button, then the help or rules screen.
- Find the RTP line. For jackpot games, check whether the figure includes the jackpot contribution.
- Compare it with the standard figure in our table; a lower number means the casino runs a reduced version.
- Note which company the rules name: Games Global or the individual studio.
- Skip any game whose RTP you cannot find.
A worked example: EUR 200 staked on Avalon at 97.00% has a theoretical cost of EUR 6.00, while the same EUR 200 on Mega Moolah at about 93.42% costs about EUR 13.16, most of it paid into the jackpot pool.
Where to find these games
Games Global supplies licensed casinos in many regulated markets, so the former Microgaming titles are easy to find at casinos licensed by the UK Gambling Commission or the Malta Gaming Authority, among others. When you open one, the rules screen should name Games Global (or the partner studio that made the game) and show the RTP of the running version. If a casino shows a Mega Moolah tile but the rules do not mention Games Global, or the jackpot amounts do not update, treat it with suspicion: the genuine network jackpot is shared across casinos and its live total changes constantly.
Bonuses
Progressive jackpot games such as Mega Moolah are often excluded from bonus play, and jackpot wins made with bonus money may be void under some casinos’ terms. Read the bonus terms first. See our guide to welcome bonuses for the usual rules.
Fairness
The former Microgaming games are certified for each regulated market where Games Global supplies them. Certification covers the random results and the published maths; check the casino’s own licence separately. Offshore licences give weaker protection than an EU or UK licence.

UK players
Only operators licensed by the UK Gambling Commission may offer gambling to people in Great Britain (Gambling Act 2005), and GAMSTOP self-exclusion covers UKGC-licensed sites only. Before you play any studio’s games at a casino, check the operator on the Commission’s public register if you live in Great Britain, or with the regulator named in the casino footer anywhere else.
Play safely
18+ only (21+ in some countries). Slots and live games are entertainment with a built-in house edge, not a way to make money. Set a deposit limit before your first session, use the reality-check and time-out tools in the casino account, and stop when the budget is gone. Frequently asked questions
Does Microgaming still exist?
The Microgaming name lives on in game catalogues, but its online game content and distribution moved to Games Global in 2022. Games Global now supplies the former Microgaming portfolio, including the Mega Moolah jackpot network, to casinos.
Who runs Mega Moolah now?
Games Global. The Mega Moolah progressive jackpot network went to Games Global with the rest of the Microgaming content in 2022 and is still running in 2026.
What is the RTP of Mega Moolah?
Mega Moolah’s base game returns about 88.12%. Including the share of stakes that funds the four progressive jackpots, the total is about 93.42%. That is low for a slot, and the gap is what pays for the jackpots.
What is the RTP of Immortal Romance?
The standard configuration of Immortal Romance returns 96.86%. Casinos can run other configurations, so check the figure in the game rules.
Why do casinos still say Microgaming?
Because the name is better known. Many casino lobbies still group the games under Microgaming even though Games Global supplies them, and some list them under the individual studio that made each game.
