ecoPayz casinos are casinos that accept the Payz e-wallet, which was called ecoPayz until it rebranded as Payz in 2023. Accounts and balances carried over and only the name changed, and many casino cashiers still show the old ecoPayz logo. Payz deposits are instant and withdrawals usually reach the wallet within minutes once the casino approves them. Payz serves the UK and most of the EEA, its fees depend on your account level, and like other e-wallets it is often excluded from casino bonuses. One casino on our list shows it; details below, checked on 8 October 2026.

UK players
Only operators licensed by the UK Gambling Commission may offer gambling to people in Great Britain (Gambling Act 2005). GAMSTOP self-exclusion only covers UKGC-licensed sites. Goldroll is not UKGC-licensed and its terms exclude UK residents. Payz accounts are available to UK residents, and UKGC-licensed casinos that accept the wallet must make sure it is not funded by a credit card. If you live in Great Britain, choose a UKGC licensee and check it on the Commission’s public register before you deposit.
What happened to ecoPayz?
ecoPayz announced its new name on its own site with the line “From today we’re Payz”. The rebrand came in 2023; trade press dates it to May 2023. It was a change of brand: accounts, balances and log-in details carried over, and the product range moved under the new name, including the Payz prepaid Mastercard. ecoPayz was long provided by PSI-Pay Ltd, a UK electronic money institution; Payz’s current fee information document names IPS Solutions Ltd as the provider of the Payz account, so check which company your own account terms name.
For casino players this matters in two ways. First, search for both names when you check a casino’s payment list. Second, be wary of any site still selling “ecoCard” or other products from the wallet’s early days: they no longer exist in that form.
Payz at the casino: limits, fees and times
The casino figures come from Goldroll’s payments page and terms; Payz figures from its fee information document (dated 6 December 2022, still the version linked from Payz’s site). Both were read on 8 October 2026.
| Item | Payz wallet | Goldroll |
|---|---|---|
| Minimum deposit | Set by the casino | EUR 20 |
| Withdrawal limits | Depend on your Payz account level | EUR 5,000 per 24 hours, EUR 20,000 per 30 days |
| Fee for paying a casino | None listed for merchant payments from your balance | None stated |
| Currency conversion | 2.99% on Classic and Silver accounts, 1.49% on Gold and Platinum, 1.25% on VIP | Goldroll processes payments in euros only |
| SEPA bank transfer out of Payz | EUR 5.90 on Silver, Gold and Platinum | n/a |
| Processing time | Casino payments instant | Within 72 hours; e-wallets usually instant once processed |
| Bonus | n/a | E-wallet deposits excluded from casino bonuses (bonus terms 2.5) |
Fees can change and differ by country, so the fee shown in your logged-in Payz account takes priority over any table, including ours. Payz itself makes that point in its help pages.
Payz account levels
Payz accounts start at Classic and move up through Silver, Gold and Platinum (plus a VIP level) as you verify your identity and use the wallet more. The level matters at casinos for two reasons: higher levels have higher limits, and conversion fees fall from 2.99% to 1.49% at Gold. Silver or higher is also required for the Payz Mastercard and for sending money to other Payz users. If you plan to use the wallet for casino payouts, verify early so that a large win is not stuck behind a Classic limit.
How to use Payz at a casino
- Open a Payz account in your own name and complete verification.
- Load the wallet by bank transfer or card, depending on the options in your country.
- Choose Payz (or ecoPayz) in the casino cashier, log in to Payz and approve the payment.
- To withdraw, choose the same wallet in the casino’s withdrawal menu. After the casino’s review, the money appears in your Payz balance.
Use the same name and email at both accounts. Goldroll’s payments page says withdrawals go back to the method you deposited with, so a wallet deposit means a wallet withdrawal.
Who can use Payz?
Payz serves residents of the UK and most EEA countries, and its card page says the Payz Mastercard is available to Silver-level customers and above in the UK and most EU and EEA member states. Availability depends on your country and on verification, so check the Payz site before you sign up. At the casino end, Goldroll’s terms exclude the UK, the US, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain, Austria and Ontario.
Pros and cons of Payz at casinos

Alternatives to Payz
The two e-wallets accepted at the most casinos are Skrill and Neteller, both owned by Paysafe. If you would rather not use a wallet, Trustly pays straight from your bank in supported countries. See every option on our casino payment methods hub.
How we checked
We read Payz’s own announcement, help pages and fee information document, and Goldroll’s payments page, terms and bonus terms, on 8 October 2026. Casinos are scored with the method on our how we rate casinos page, where payments carry 20% of the score. We made no test deposits.
Play safely
Online gambling is for adults only: 18+ in most countries and higher in some. Set a deposit limit in the casino account before your first payment, and never use a payment method to chase losses. GamCare runs the free National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133. Our responsible gambling guide lists help lines by country, plus self-exclusion tools and bank gambling blocks.
Frequently asked questions
Is ecoPayz still available?
Yes, as Payz. ecoPayz rebranded as Payz in 2023, and accounts and balances carried over. Some casinos still list it under the old ecoPayz name.
Which casinos accept Payz (ecoPayz)?
Of the casinos we list, Goldroll shows the wallet, under the name EcoPayz, for deposits and withdrawals on its payments page. Fewer casinos offer Payz than Skrill or Neteller, so check the cashier for your country.
Can I withdraw casino winnings to Payz?
Yes, at casinos that support it, usually when you deposited with Payz. Once the casino approves the withdrawal, the money normally appears in your Payz balance within minutes.
Does Payz charge fees for casino payments?
Payz’s fee document lists no fee for paying a merchant from your balance, but currency conversion costs 2.99% on Classic and Silver accounts, 1.49% on Gold and Platinum and 1.25% on VIP, and a SEPA transfer out costs EUR 5.90. Check your logged-in account for current fees.
Can UK players use Payz?
Yes, Payz serves UK residents. Use it at UKGC-licensed casinos that list it; the offshore casino on this page excludes UK residents.
