Winz.io is an offshore crypto and fiat casino with a sportsbook, run by Novatrix SRL of Costa Rica under a Tobique Gaming Commission licence (and an Anjouan licence shown to some countries). Its selling point is real: casino rewards come without wagering, from the Wheel of Winz welcome spin to cashback paid as cash. The trade-offs are a random welcome reward instead of a fixed bonus, a three-times turnover rule on fiat deposits before withdrawal, and two different sets of terms depending on where you load the site. It suits crypto users in accepted countries who dislike wagering. It is not for UK, US, Dutch or Spanish residents.
This review is desk research. On 8 October 2026 we checked the operator’s terms and conditions, bonus terms, payments page, responsible gambling policy, FAQ and promotions page, loading the site through Irish and Canadian connections, and we checked both licence registers. We did not deposit, play or time withdrawals. Where the operator’s own pages contradict each other, we say so and quote both.

Two licences, two versions of the rules. When we loaded the terms through an Irish connection, we got version 1.0, effective from 17 February 2026, which names the Tobique Gaming Commission and licence 0000002. Through a Canadian connection the same address served an older text naming the Anjouan Gaming Commission and licence ALSI-202508056-FI2, and the footer on that version described Winz.io as “licensed and regulated by the Government of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan”. Both registers confirm Novatrix as a licence holder, so neither claim is false. It does mean the rules that apply to you depend on your country, so read the terms page from your own location before you deposit.
Novatrix runs far more than one casino. The Anjouan register lists more than 60 domains under the same licence, including woocasino.com, kingbillycasino.com, levelupcasino.com, playfina.com and zoome.casino. Limits and self-exclusion you set at Winz.io apply to your Winz.io account; the terms do not say they carry across to the company’s other brands.
A Tobique or Anjouan licence tells you who is accountable and which rules the operator says it follows. Neither regulator is a national authority in the countries where most of our readers live, so the licence gives you no local consumer protection. Our guide to legal online casinos by country explains why a local licence matters.
Complaints and disputes
Start with support. Clause 15 of the Tobique terms says complaints go to the support team first and are escalated inside the company if they cannot be solved at once. If you are unhappy with the outcome, the same clause names EGIS as the independent ADR body, reachable at [email protected].
Anjouan works differently. Its complaint policy says the authority does not handle complaints itself: you raise them through the licence seal on the site, the operator has 30 days to answer (14 days for disputes about game outcomes), and unresolved cases then go to an ADR provider that the operator pays for. Clause 13 of the Tobique terms adds a deadline of one year from the event for any claim, and clause 17 sends disputes to arbitration in Costa Rica.
Which countries Winz.io accepts
Clause 2.14 of the February 2026 terms bars real-money play from: Afghanistan, American Samoa, Antigua and Barbuda, Bahrain, Belarus, Bermuda, Belgium, Brazil, British Indian Ocean Territory, Bulgaria, the Canadian provinces of New Brunswick and Ontario, Central African Republic, China, Cuba, Cyprus, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Gibraltar, Greece, Guam, Guernsey, Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jersey, Libya, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Myanmar, the Netherlands, North Korea, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, El Salvador, Somalia, South Sudan, Syria, Spain, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, the United States, Venezuela, the British Virgin Islands and Yemen. Players who break the rule “are not entitled to refunds or withdrawals”.
The Anjouan version shown in Canada has an almost identical list but does not name France or the two Canadian provinces. The bonus terms add a second list: customers from Sweden, Spain, France, the UK, the Netherlands, Sint Maarten, Curacao and Lithuania may not claim any bonus or reward, and clause 2.15 of the Tobique terms also shuts Swedish players out of VIP and loyalty exchanges.
- United Kingdom. Only operators licensed by the UK Gambling Commission may offer gambling to people in Great Britain under the Gambling Act 2005, and GAMSTOP self-exclusion only covers UKGC-licensed sites. Winz.io is not UKGC-licensed, lists the UK as restricted and is not for UK residents.
- United States. Restricted, together with US territories. Winz.io is not for US players.
- Canada. Ontario runs its own regulated iGaming market and is excluded in the Tobique terms, as is New Brunswick, where the Tobique commission is based. Other provinces are not listed; check your provincial rules first.
- Ireland, New Zealand, Australia. Not on the list. In Australia, offering online casino games to Australians is an offence for the operator under the Interactive Gambling Act 2001, and ACMA blocks such sites; the site points Australian visitors to a separate domain.
- Sweden. Not barred from playing, but excluded from every bonus. Winz.io has no Spelinspektionen licence, so Spelpaus does not apply.
Clause 2.5 bans VPNs and proxies. If you use one to reach the site from a restricted country, expect the account to be closed and any balance to be at risk.
Welcome offers and bonus terms
Winz.io does not offer a classic match bonus. New players pick one of several welcome routes, and the casino’s bonus terms say there are “no wagering requirements on any of our rewards”. The promotions page we loaded on 8 October 2026 listed four welcome offers: the Welcome Wheel of Winz, a Welcome 20% Crypto Cashback, a Welcome 10% Live Casino Cashback and a Welcome Sports Bonus.
Welcome Wheel of Winz
Make a first deposit without entering a bonus code and you receive one spin of the wheel. Its level depends on the deposit, and the bonus terms list the possible prizes for each wheel:
| Wheel | Minimum first deposit | Possible rewards (bonus terms, section 1) |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze | EUR 25, CAD 37.50, NZD 45 or 0.00025 BTC | 25, 50, 100, 150 or 200 free spins; or USD 10, 25, 50, 100 or 1,000 |
| Silver | EUR 50, CAD 75, NZD 90 or 0.0005 BTC | 50, 100, 200, 300 or 400 free spins; or USD 20, 25, 100, 200 or 2,000 |
| Gold | EUR 100, CAD 150, NZD 180 or 0.001 BTC | 100, 200, 400, 600 or 800 free spins; or USD 40, 100, 200, 400 or 5,000 |
The rules that matter:
- No wagering: every Wheel of Winz reward is wager-free.
- Game: free spins are played on Big Bass Bonanza by Pragmatic Play and must be activated and used within one day.
- Spin value: free spins in any promotion are worth no more than EUR 1 each unless stated otherwise (bonus terms, section 3).
- Cap on free-spin wins: EUR 5,000 per set of free spins unless a promotion says otherwise.
- One welcome only: the wheel is not available if you have already claimed the live or sports welcome offer, and it cannot be combined with code-based bonuses.
- Currency: cash prizes are shown in USD but paid in your deposit currency at the exchange rate of the day.
One inconsistency to note. The homepage banner seen from Ireland advertised a welcome bonus of “up to EUR 10,000 or 130 mBTC”, and the Canadian promotions page said “C$16,000”. By contrast, the largest cash prize in the bonus terms we read is USD 5,000 on the Gold wheel. Because the terms are the binding document, we would not plan around a higher figure. You also get no control over the outcome: the probability of each segment is not published, so you cannot work out the average value of a spin.
Live casino and crypto cashback
Live players can enter the code LIVE on one of their first three real-money deposits instead. Each day you deposit at least EUR 20 (or 0.0002 BTC), the casino returns 10% of the previous day’s live casino losses the next day, as real money with no wagering and no upper cap. Unused cashback is removed after 14 days. According to the promotions page, the offer covers your “first 2 weeks of active playing”. As for the crypto alternative, it advertises 20% daily cashback on crypto play with “no limits, no upper cap”; we did not find separate terms for it in the bonus terms we read, so ask support for the exact rules before you choose it.
Worked example: what “no wagering” still costs
Wager-free rewards are better value than the usual 35x or 40x bonus, but one rule still applies. Clause 11.3 of the terms says any fiat deposit must be staked three times before it can be withdrawn; crypto deposits only once (clause 11.4). Take a EUR 100 fiat deposit that earns a Gold spin. Before withdrawing that EUR 100, you must place EUR 300 of bets. On a slot with a 96% return to player, the expected cost of EUR 300 of bets is about 4% of 300, or EUR 12. With a 0.001 BTC crypto deposit the turnover is only 1x, so the expected cost drops to roughly 4% of the deposit.
The live cashback can be sized the same way. Suppose you deposit EUR 50 with code LIVE and finish the day EUR 200 down on live blackjack and roulette. The next day the casino credits 10% of the loss, EUR 20, as withdrawable cash. It softens a losing day; it does not turn a losing strategy into a winning one. If you break the fiat turnover rule, clause 9.8 of the Anjouan terms lets the casino charge deposit and withdrawal processing fees. The VIP exceptions are at the casino’s discretion.
No-deposit bonuses, when Winz.io issues them, are different: 40x wagering on winnings, slots only, a EUR 100 cap, and you must deposit and pass verification before cashing out (bonus terms, section 6). For a wider comparison of offers, see our guide to casino welcome bonuses and our explainer on free spins bonuses.
Loyalty and VIP
The WinzUp loyalty programme advertises “up to 35% in rewards”, split into daily rakeback of up to 10%, weekly cashback of up to 15% and level-up rakeback of up to 10%. The first tier, Bronze 1, gives 1% weekly cashback, 1% level-up rakeback and 5% daily rakeback after USD 100 of turnover. The Wheel of Winz can also be spun three times a week by existing players, according to the promotions page. The Winz.io Club for high rollers is by invitation or by email request to [email protected] and offers a dedicated manager and personal offers; the FAQ gives no entry criteria.
Payments and withdrawals
The payments page we loaded from Canada listed the methods below. Method names are taken from the logos on the page, and the limits are per transaction as the operator states them. The page shows no fee for any method, and the FAQ says the casino does not charge deposit or withdrawal fees, subject to the free-withdrawal limit described further down.
| Method | Deposit (min / max) | Withdrawal (min / max) | Stated withdrawal time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bitcoin | 0.0001 BTC / no maximum | 0.001 / 1 BTC | Instant |
| Ethereum | 0.002 ETH / no maximum | 0.01 / 10 ETH | Instant |
| Tether (USDT) and USD Coin | 20 / no maximum | 20 / 10,000 | Instant |
| Litecoin, Dogecoin, Bitcoin Cash, XRP, Tron, BNB, Cardano, Solana | Small minimums, no maximum | Per-coin limits on the page | Instant |
| Visa, Maestro | EUR 20 / EUR 4,000 | Not listed | Not available |
| Mastercard | EUR 20 / EUR 4,000 | EUR 50 / EUR 4,000 | 1 to 5 days |
| Skrill, Neteller, Rapid Transfer | EUR 20 / EUR 4,000 | EUR 20 / EUR 4,000 | Instant |
| MuchBetter, iWallet | EUR 20 / EUR 4,000 | EUR 20 / EUR 4,000 | Instant |
| MiFinity | EUR 20 / EUR 1,000 | EUR 20 / EUR 1,000 | Instant |
| Payz (shown under its old name, ecoPayz) | EUR 20 / EUR 4,000 | EUR 20 / EUR 4,000 | Instant |
| Interac | CAD 50 / CAD 6,000 | CAD 30 / CAD 6,000 | Instant |
| iDebit, Instadebit | CAD 30 / CAD 6,000 (iDebit) | CAD 30 / CAD 6,000 | Instant |
| Paysafecard | EUR 20 / EUR 4,000 | Not listed | Not available |
| Siru Mobile | EUR 5 / EUR 15 | Not listed | Not available |
| Virtual credit card | Not listed | EUR 20 / EUR 4,000 | Instant |
| Bank transfer | Not listed | Depends on bank / EUR 4,000 | 1 to 5 days |
The e-wallet once called ecoPayz has traded as Payz since 2023; the cashier logo still uses the old name. “Instant” on this page is the operator’s description of processing after approval. Clause 11.1 says the casino will “try to pay out withdrawals within 1 hour”, while the IE terms add that bank transfers are processed within 3 business days and that USD bank payouts are not available. Withdrawal limits and fees
| Rule | What the terms say |
|---|---|
| Minimum withdrawal | EUR 20 (or USD 20 equivalent) per transaction, except on account closure (11.2) |
| Weekly and monthly cap | 100,000 USDT/USD per week, 400,000 per month; higher VIP levels may get exceptions (11.7) |
| Very large wins | Above 400,000, paid in monthly instalments of up to 400,000 (11.8) |
| Free withdrawals (fiat) | Two a day and seven a calendar week; beyond that 10% fee, minimum EUR 10 (11.5) |
| Crypto withdrawals | No daily limit on the number of requests (11.5) |
| Turnover before withdrawal | 3x each fiat deposit, 1x each crypto deposit (11.3, 11.4) |
| Card refunds | Withdrawals up to your net card deposits may go back to the card; any excess by another method (11.13) |
| Chargebacks | EUR 50 administration fee per chargeback or reversal (10.8) |
| Dormant account fee | EUR 20 a month after 12 months without login or play (IE terms 12.1); the Anjouan version says USD 25 after six months |
The weekly cap is generous by offshore standards; many casinos stop at EUR 5,000 or less a week. The per-transaction limits of EUR 4,000 on most fiat methods mean a large fiat payout arrives in several pieces, as clause 11.2 confirms. Note too that the dormancy fee differs between the two versions of the terms.
Verification (KYC)
The FAQ says mandatory verification starts once your total withdrawals exceed EUR 2,000 (or 7 BTC), and checks may also be triggered at any time if the casino suspects a breach of terms. You will be asked for photo ID, proof of address and proof of your payment method, in Latin or Cyrillic script; otherwise a video call can be required (clause 9.6). Clause 8.4 says the casino may phone you, and if it cannot reach you by phone or email within two weeks of a withdrawal request, the account is locked and the withdrawal cancelled. Keep your phone number current and upload documents early.
Games and software
Winz.io says it offers more than 6,000 games from more than 60 studios, and its FAQ stresses that the provider list is geo-sensitive, so what you see depends on your country. The lobby is split into slots, Megaways-style and bonus-buy titles, jackpots, crash games, Plinko, table games and live casino, with live sections for roulette, blackjack, baccarat, game shows and sic bo. Slots shown on the Irish homepage included Gates of Olympus Super Scatter from Pragmatic Play and a branded Novomatic title, Winz Bonsai Gold. The about page says live tables come from Evolution.
The FAQ lists a provably fair section, and any game can be played in demo mode by choosing the Fun Money currency. Fairness claims rest on the studios: Winz.io says its providers are licensed and tested, but we found no casino-level RTP report. Check each game’s information screen for its return to player, because several studios release the same slot at more than one RTP setting. Lotteries, tournaments and Pragmatic Play’s Drops & Wins network promotion run alongside the games, and the sportsbook covers football, American football and other sports with its own welcome offer.
Clause 3.1 of the terms warns that some games may be unavailable in certain countries because of provider restrictions. Those blocks come from the studios, not from Winz.io, and can change without notice.
Mobile and customer support
There is nothing to download: the FAQ says the casino runs in the browser on desktop, laptop and mobile. Support is offered by live chat, which the FAQ says operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, by email at [email protected] and through a contact form. English is the main support language. We did not test response times. The site is available in English, German, Spanish, Finnish, French (Canada), Japanese, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian and Turkish versions, among others, and the terms state that the English text prevails if translations differ.
Responsible gambling tools
Winz.io is for adults only: the terms set a minimum age of 18, or the legal gambling age where you live if that is higher. The responsible gambling policy lists these account tools:
- Deposit limit per day, week or month. The policy warns that deposit limits “cannot always be applied” to crypto deposits, and clause 10.4 says crypto deposits through CoinsPaid cannot be capped at all.
- Loss limit and wager limit per day, week or month (casino only; not applied to sports bets).
- Cooling-off for one week, one month, three months or six months; fiat deposits and promotions are blocked, withdrawals still work.
- Self-exclusion for six months, nine months, one year or indefinitely, set in the account or by emailing [email protected].
Lowering a limit takes effect at once; raising one needs email confirmation and only happens after the current limit expires. That is a sensible design. The weak point is crypto: if you need hard deposit limits, the operator itself advises using a non-crypto method. Clause 13 of the Anjouan version also says the casino screens for signs of gambling harm and may close an account where it sees them.
National schemes do not reach this site. GAMSTOP covers UKGC-licensed operators only, Cruks only KSA-licensed operators in the Netherlands, Spelpaus only Swedish-licensed operators and ROFUS only Danish-licensed operators, so none of them blocks you here. Use the casino’s own self-exclusion, and consider blocking software for all gambling sites.
If gambling stops being fun, free confidential help is available. In the UK, the National Gambling Helpline run by GamCare is on 0808 8020 133, and BeGambleAware (begambleaware.org) has self-help tools. Readers elsewhere can use Gambling Therapy (gamblingtherapy.org), which offers free online support in several languages, or Gamblers Anonymous. Our responsible gambling guide lists more options by country.
Pros and cons
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Casino rewards carry no wagering, including the welcome wheel and live cashback | Welcome reward is random; segment odds are not published |
| Licence trail checks out on both the Tobique list and the Anjouan register, valid into 2027 | Two different sets of terms (Tobique and Anjouan) depending on your location |
| High withdrawal ceiling of 100,000 USD a week | Fiat deposits must be staked 3x before withdrawal; extra fiat withdrawals cost 10% |
| Wide crypto choice with no stated fees | Deposit limits cannot be enforced on crypto deposits |
| Loss, wager and deposit limits plus cooling-off and self-exclusion | Homepage welcome figures (EUR 10,000, C$16,000) do not match the USD 5,000 top prize in the terms |
| Large lobby from 60+ studios with demo play | Offshore licences only; no UK, Dutch, Swedish or other national licence |
Who Winz.io is not for
- Residents of restricted countries, including the UK, the USA, the Netherlands, Spain, Belgium, Portugal, Finland and Ontario.
- Players who want a guaranteed bonus amount. The wheel may pay 25 free spins or USD 10 on a Bronze spin.
- Anyone relying on deposit limits while paying in crypto, because those limits may not apply.
- Players who want a national regulator to settle disputes. Complaints go to the operator and then to an ADR body, not to a government regulator in your country.
- Swedish, Spanish, French, UK and Dutch residents chasing promotions, since they are excluded from every bonus.
Our score for Winz.io
We score casinos with the six weighted criteria on our how we rate casinos page, marking each from 1 to 5. Licensing carries the most weight because it decides whether anyone can hold the operator to account where you live.
| Criterion | Mark (1 to 5) | Weight | Points |
|---|---|---|---|
| Licence for your country | 2 | 30% | 0.60 |
| Payments and withdrawals | 4 | 20% | 0.80 |
| Bonus terms | 4 | 15% | 0.60 |
| Games | 4 | 15% | 0.60 |
| Player protection | 3 | 10% | 0.30 |
| Support and usability | 4 | 10% | 0.40 |
| Total | 100% | 3.3 / 5 |
Why these marks: the licence earns 2 because both licences are offshore and give no local protection, although both are current and verifiable in the registers. Payments earn 4 for the wide method list and high weekly cap, held back by the 3x fiat turnover rule and the 10% fee on extra fiat withdrawals. Bonus terms earn 4 because rewards are genuinely wager-free, minus a point for the random welcome value and the mismatch between banner and terms. Player protection earns 3: the tool set is good, but deposit limits do not bind crypto and the national schemes do not apply. Support earns 4 for 24/7 chat according to the operator, though we did not test it. Our editorial policy explains how we keep scores separate from commercial arrangements; we have none with this brand.
Verdict
Winz.io is one of the cleaner offshore offers on bonus terms: you are not asked to stake a bonus 35 or 40 times, and the cashback is cash. The licence trail is traceable through two registers, and the weekly withdrawal ceiling is high. Set against that are offshore licences only, location-dependent terms, a lottery-style welcome reward and limits that do not bind crypto. If you live in an accepted country and value wager-free rewards, read the terms from your own location first. For other options, browse our casino reviews.
Frequently asked questions
Is Winz.io licensed and legit?
Winz.io is run by Novatrix SRL, a Costa Rica company (registration 3-102-893958). Depending on where you open the site, its terms name either Tobique Gaming Commission licence 0000002 or Anjouan licence ALSI-202508056-FI2. On 8 October 2026 the Tobique list showed a Novatrix S.R.L B2C licence expiring 13 March 2027, and the Anjouan register listed winz.io under ALSI-202508056-FI2, valid to 24 August 2027. Both are offshore licences: neither makes Winz.io legal in the UK, the Netherlands or any other country with its own licensing system.
Does Winz.io have wagering requirements?
Not on its bonuses. The bonus terms say all Wheel of Winz rewards are wager-free and the Live Casino Welcome Cashback is paid as real money with no wagering. There is a separate anti-money-laundering rule, though: each fiat deposit must be staked three times, and each crypto deposit once, before that money can be withdrawn. No-deposit bonuses, when offered, carry 40x wagering and a EUR 100 cap.
How does the Wheel of Winz welcome bonus work?
Your first deposit earns one spin of the Wheel of Winz, with no bonus code. A deposit of EUR 25 gives a Bronze spin, EUR 50 a Silver spin and EUR 100 a Gold spin. The Gold wheel’s prizes listed in the bonus terms range from 100 to 800 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza or a cash prize between USD 40 and USD 5,000, all without wagering. You cannot choose the reward; the wheel decides.
How fast are Winz.io withdrawals?
The terms say the casino tries to pay withdrawals within one hour, and the payments page lists crypto and most e-wallets as instant and Mastercard and bank transfer as 1 to 5 days. These are the operator’s own targets, not times we measured. Verification can pause a payout: mandatory checks apply once total withdrawals pass EUR 2,000, and the casino may ask for a phone call.
What are the Winz.io withdrawal limits?
The terms cap withdrawals at 100,000 USDT or USD per week and 400,000 per month, with larger wins paid in monthly instalments. Per transaction, most fiat methods allow EUR 20 to EUR 4,000, MiFinity EUR 20 to EUR 1,000, and Mastercard EUR 50 to EUR 4,000. Fiat players get two free withdrawals a day and seven a week; beyond that a 10% fee (minimum EUR 10) can apply.
Can UK players use Winz.io?
No. The United Kingdom is on the restricted list in the terms, and UK customers are also excluded from all bonuses. Only operators licensed by the UK Gambling Commission may offer gambling to people in Great Britain, and GAMSTOP self-exclusion only covers those UKGC-licensed sites. Winz.io holds no UKGC licence.
Is Winz.io available in the United States?
No. The United States, Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa and the Northern Mariana Islands are all on the restricted list, so US residents may not play for real money.
